Project Overview

The Eastern Golf Club required a modern, reliable, and discreet security and communications solution to support daily operations while preserving the club’s premium member experience. With a large site footprint, multiple access points, and a mix of public, staff-only, and restricted areas, the club engaged Metro Group to deliver an integrated system covering security, access control, structured data cabling, CCTV, and intercoms.

Metro Group was selected based on its ability to design and deliver a unified solution that balanced robust security with ease of use, scalability, and minimal visual impact.

Projects Overview: 

Metro Group recently completed an complete Design & Construct, integrated security and communications infrastructure project for Walkinshaw Automotive Group, delivering a robust and future-ready solution across security, access control, fibre optic networking, Cat 6A data cabling, intercom, and CCTV systems.

The project was designed in caloboration with Walkinshaws in house IT department to support Walkinshaw Automotive Group’s operational requirements, protecting high-value assets while enabling secure, efficient movement of staff and visitors throughout the facility. Metro Group implemented a centrally managed, server based access control system to regulate entry to secure areas, improving site security and operational control.

A high-definition VMS CCTV system was deployed across key internal and external locations to enhance visibility, safety, and incident monitoring. Intercom systems were installed at nominated entry and exit access points to allow controlled communication and secure entry management via the guard house.

To underpin all systems, Metro Group delivered a high-performance network infrastructure, including redundant fibre optic backbone cabling and Cat 6A structured data cabling for LAN and Wi-Fi. This provided the bandwidth, reliability, and scalability required to support current systems while allowing for future expansion and technology upgrades.

The project was delivered in close coordination with FDC and Salta to ensure minimal over runs. All systems were fully tested and commissioned to deliver a seamless, integrated solution aligned with the client’s security, performance, and reliability expectations.

Client: Barwon Heads Golf Club

Project Overview: 

Metro Group was engaged by Barwon Heads Golf Club to design and deliver a complete, integrated security and CCTV solution tailored to the club’s operational and site requirements.

Following an initial consultation, Metro Group developed a comprehensive security strategy incorporating a modern access control system and high-definition CCTV coverage across key internal and external areas. The solution was designed to enhance site security, protect assets, and provide improved visibility and monitoring, while maintaining the club’s welcoming environment for members and guests.

The access control system enables secure management of staff and restricted areas, offering flexible credential administration and improved operational oversight. The CCTV system provides clear, reliable surveillance to support safety, incident response, and ongoing risk management.

To ensure the project was delivered efficiently and on schedule, Metro Group were engaged by Alchemy Constructions, working collaboratively to coordinate installation, integration, and commissioning. This partnership ensured all systems were completed to specification and fully operational within the required timeframe.

The result is a reliable, scalable security solution that strengthens site protection while supporting the club’s day-to-day operations.

Project : Bounce Fountain Gate

Client : Bounce Inc.

Project Overview: 

Approached by Bounce Inc, Metro Group was engaged to design, supply, install and commission a turnkey Communications, Security and AV solution for the new Fountain Gate mini bounce complex. Incorporating state of the art AI CCTV, safety and compliance is now targeted in conjunction with the latest heat mapping software to keep staff informed where the popular hot spots are through out the venue. Incorporating a new Wi-FI and fibre optic system all comms and security are reliably broadcasted. A Redback audio system takes care of the back ground music and paging requirements. The latest Protege Security/ access control system also provides remote management and back to base monitoring. 

Project: Autex Acoustics

Project Overview:

Teaming up with Radius Electrical, Metro Group were approached to deliver an NDAA compliant AI CCTV solution, promoting warehouse, office, showroom and external coverage. Utilizing a mixture of 180 degree, 360 degree and turret cameras to local racks via a fibre optic ring main, an NX Witness VMS was deployed to allow seamless remote management from HQ in New Zealand. Coupled with a Protege GX server based security access control system, all gates and external doors are monitored for staff access and intrusion safety.

Project: Royal Melbourne Golf Club 3PS Project

Project Overview:

Approached by Robert Luxmoore to design a comms and security network that would extend on their current systems whilst incorporating the latest CCTV technology and introduce new technology to the driving range with a Trackman solution. Metro Group  delivered new services to setup a new comms room, wi-fi, CCTV, security, access control, fibre, Trackman and carpark counter.
